Description
Yahoo Falls is in the Big South Fork River and Recreation Area in Kentucky. It is in the northern portion of the recreation area and is Kentucky’s highest waterfall. Yahoo drops 113 feet into the pool below. It’s possible to walk right up to the base of the falls and behind the falls themselves for a unique perspective. And to top it off, it cascades down in front of one of the park’s largest rock houses.

Thanks. When things open up again, I am planning to go to the Big South Fork. I am supposed to write an article for Motorhome Magazine on the area. I plan to hike to Yahoo Falls again. Not sure if I can make it to Honey Creek but I’ll check it out. Thank you for the tip.

I love Yahoo Falls and that whole area! I am not sure what kind of shape you are in but if you ever get that chance there is a hike called honey creek south of Yahoo Falls. It is a challenge for make sure you read about it first, but it is absolutely amazing and so many different places for such wonderful pictures.
