Description
I made this black and white photograph while taking a wildlife cruise in the Elkhorn Slough of California. The Elkhorn Slough is a seven-mile arm of the Monterey Bay located halfway between the cities of Santa Cruz and Monterey. It is comprised of approximately 1,700 acres that includes a salt marsh, mud flat, freshwater pond, oak woodland, and grassland habitats.
