Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

It was early when I headed for one of my favorite spots to photograph. As I was driving away from Memphis, I noticed this cypress swamp in along backwaters of the Loosahatchie River. It was about sunrise and the fog had a eerie glow about it. No retouching. No Photoshop.
I have been shooting pictures since high school when I purchased a used twin-lens reflex camera from a teacher. Since that time I have maintained an interest in photographing places and things. Several years ago I began writing travel articles for various magazines and newspapers. That provided the opportunity to visit many scenic and unusual places. It has made me realize how beautiful the United States, and particularly my home state of Tennessee, is. My techniques are simple. Nothing fancy. That would probably detract from the work's intended purpose. I have used several formats: 35mm, 6 x 7, and now digital. From the resulting images for art shows, I select the most appealing.
